Well hello! I should probably update because I haven't in a LONG time! Not much has happened since I last updated. We went to Palaver which is a really big business event and it was a lot of fun! I will post pictures a little later. Posting pictures on this website is usually a 3-hour event so you can see why I'm a little deterred to do it. My dad and brother leave for Kanakuk in 2 days which is very exciting but means I won't talk to them as much! It has been raining for pretty much the last 2 days here which sucks, but apparently it is a lot better than home with all the tornadoes! We also booked the trip to Sydney for my birthday which will be lots of fun! We are leaving on July 31st and coming back on August 3rd. I'm planning on climbing the Sydney Bridge so expect some cool pictures from that too! And the trip to Melbourne will happen hopefully soon...but just not sure when yet. This past Saturday we went and saw The Hangover and went to dinner. And let me just say, that movie is probably the funniest movie I have seen in years! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. And of course Kathryn slept through pretty much the whole thing because she blames her "lack of iron in her diet." She is pretty much crazy, but it was funny. And they have a new place called Max Brenner and it is a chocolate restaurant. Pretty terrible, right? The food is so good it should be a sin. We had chocolate fondue and chocolate waffles. The chocolate fondue is definitely not as good as The Melting Pot, but still super delicious! Speaking of food, one thing I have noticed here is that the sushi sucks. I thought, ya know, since it was close to Asia and surrounded by ocean that they would have good sushi. No sir. It's not good....or atleast I haven't found any that is good yet. A friend is bringing me sushi back from a supposedly really good sushi restaurant right now, so we shall see how it is. Anyways, that is the short update from what has been going on! Oh, and Law Ball is this weekend. It's a super formal event and dinner, and we have rented a hotel room for the night, and then we go to a nightclub after the formal dinner so it should be really fun! I'm pretty excited...it's definitely the biggest event of the year! I will take PLENTY of pictures!
Okay well I will post more later!
